Toby is the third generation of this specific bloodline.  I purchased Pat's Luck Lady when she was 5 years old and hunted with her for two years before deciding to breed her to BR's Cajunland Driver.  From the litter of six I kept North Star Squeaky Squirt.  Squirt was bred to Buck's Branch Kalagha and produced a litter of four pups.  I decided to raise all four (Toby, Tuffy, Tiger, and Trooper) and after about two years decided to keep Toby and Trooper.  Toby is a good medium speed dog.  He has good confirmation, searches well, and can hang on to a rabbit or hare.  His intelligence is another trait that is very helpful; he can adapt to different conditions and dogs.  He does have a little extra mouth when starting a hunt but that diminishes quickly.  Toby is a very good hunting dog and also a good companion.  Toby is now 15 years (2019) old and retired. I have utilized Toby in my breeding program.
