Zippy's sire is Whopper and her dam is Yolanda.  Zippy was born on 12/9/11. Zippy has many of her sire's traits in that she behaves alot like Whopper and also carries herself like him as well.  Zippy has great confirmation like her sire and dam and is very athletic; this has served her well so far during her hunting career.  She has her dam's speed and her sire's check (rabbit changes direction) work.  This is working out to be a great combination for her.  She has great search like both of her parents and reaches out on checks a bit but is generally successful in picking up the rabbit's trail.  She barks only when she is sure she has the track straightened out and can move the rabbit.  I spent a significant amount of time with Zippy in 2013 and she just continues to get better.  We took her along to Maine hare hunting in 2014 and she did a great job running with her sire; they make a nice hunting pair.  Zippy is developing into an excellent hunting companion and I do plan to utilize her for breeding.
